Ms. Lisa Dianne Strickland-Lyda of Columbus, GA, passed from this life on April 29, 2025. In life she was a devoted mother and nurse. A graduate of Columbus State University, School of Nursing, she was a lifelong registered nurse working in hospitals across the State of Georgia. She had a strong love for animals including her beloved Batman. She was a Christian and had a strong belief and faith in God.
In recent years she had gone through many physical struggles and illnesses. She is survived by her son Zachary, 28 (and his spouse Elizabeth, 30), and her daughter Elizabeth, 22. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theresa, and Billy.
