Lucille King Chapman, 87, of Newnan, Georgia, died on August 9, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2:00pm in Riverdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Chapman, daughter of the late John Samuel King and Mattie Mae Carr King, was born September 12, 1928 in Decatur, Georgia.
She was an Accountant and Partner with Quality Accounting Services and formerly employed with the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Chapman was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church of the United States in Henry County, Georgia.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Gail Jones. Mrs. Chapman is survived by her husband, Daniel M. Chapman; son, Derek Jones (Judy); grandchildren, Adam Jones, Amanda Jones, Anna Jones; sister, Geraldine Satterfield (Arnold); brother, John R. King; sister-in-law, Mary Chapman Dodds (Charles); numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
