Lynn Margaret Waller passed away peacefully at home on January 4th 2024, while bravely battling breast cancer. She was born on August 12th, 1954 to Patricia Anne Kasper and Edward Lawrence Wood in Whittier, California. She moved to Georgia in 1997 and has called it home since.
Lynn was a fun spirited soul with the biggest heart and most beautiful smile. She was kind, thoughtful, independent yet sensitive and incredibly passionate. Lynn loved soul music, scenic drives, the beach, coloring, tigers, dancing especially with the “Chile DuDo” friend group but most of all her grandchildren. She will forever be missed.
She is survived by her four children and their families. They include John Joseph Zamarripa (Janet), granddaughter Kaylie Rose Zamarripa, grandson John Ryan Zamarripa, Beth Ann Mainor (Steven), granddaughter Tiffany Nicole Mainor, grandson Steven Carter Mainor ll, grandson Seth Christian Mainor, Nicole Maria Zamarripa (Danny), granddaughter Sadie Lynn Dumas, Andrew Alberto Zamarripa (Kimberly), grandson Andrew Alexander Zamarripa, grandson Leo Alan Zamarripa,
Lynn is survived by her brothers and their families they include Edward Wood, Raymond Wood, and Larry Wood.
Lynn was preceded in death by her son Jeremiah Edward Wood, parents Patricia and Edward Wood, brother Michael Wood and sister Candace Skarseth.
In lieu of traditional memorial service, Lynn has requested for her ashes to be spread by her children and their families. A date for her Celebration of Life is to be determined.
