Mack D. Morgan

Mr. Mack Daniel Morgan, age 67, passed away on November 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Mr. Morgan was born on August 30, 1944 to the late Henry G. Morgan, Sr. and Margaret York Morgan in Clanton, AL. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Morgan was an avid reader of The Bible and always enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Morgan.

Survivors include his children, Grady Morgan (Kelly) of Buena Vista, GA, Tracy Harrison (Jennifer) of Columbus, GA and Stacy Tyler (Kem) of Buena Vista, GA; eight grandchildren, Wyatt Mack Morgan, Brianna, Taeler, Andrea, Haley, Kameron, Britney and Taner; three brothers, Bill Morgan, John Morgan and Grady Morgan and two sisters, Pat Gill and Terry Smith and several nieces and nephews.
