Marion Wilson

Marion Wilson, 74, of Columbus, GA passed Monday, March 29, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Allison Owen officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at Striffler-Hamby.

Ms. Wilson was born January 13, 1947 in Offenbach A-M Germany, the daughter of the late Herbert and Waltraud Grohl. She worked over 20 years as clerk at the Sing Store where she was loved by her customers. She married Mr. Kenneth Wilson and they spent twenty five cherished years together. Marion always put others before herself and loved her family deeply. She was especially fond of her grand and great grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Griffin (Tommy); two sons, Roger Wilson (Claudete Silva) and Ricky Wilson; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Kristen and Tyler Griffin, Thomas and Brad Wilson, and Joseph and Michael Silva; five great grandchildren, Gracie and Jaxson Farmer, Wesley Griffin, and Phoenix and Jadeth Wilson; two sisters Ute Sirmans(Larry) and Christa Ott (Claus) and numerous other extended family and friends.
