Mary Heath

Mary Heath, age 87, resident of Warner Robins, Georgia , passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017. Graveside services are scheduled at Parkhill Cemetery on Monday, January 16, 2017, 1 p.m. with Reverend Charlie Short officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus.

Mrs. Heath, daughter of the late Clyde Lee Sharpe and Daisy Lucile Woodham Sharpe, was born July 17, 1929 in Andalusia, Alabama. She was retired from the Houston County Georgia School system where she faithfully worked for several years. Mrs. Heath enjoyed crocheting , computers, craft projects, and had a strong passion for visiting the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Earl Heath and a sister, Margarette Hatcher.

Mrs. Heath is survived by two daughters, Shirley Heath Ebbesen and her husband Mike of Dallas, Texas and Nancy Heath McCrary and her husband Ray of Columbus; one son, Kenneth Heath of Warner Robins, Georgia; two sisters, Yvonne Veasey and Jessie Weiss, both of Phenix City, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Chris and Tom Ebbesen, Kenny and David McCrary, Jason Heath, Andrea Hahn, and Tim Heath; 10 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
