Graveside service for Mr. Otto will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 26, 2011 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Charles Hays officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus.
Visitation for Mr. Otto will be 1:00 pm, Monday, December 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
Melvin E. Otto a member of Edgewood Assembly of God Church served his country in the United States Army, after his service in the military, he was employed as a Civil Service Maintenance Technician with the Water Treatment plant for 30 years after retirement Mr. Otto worked with Wynn Dixie for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Diana Otto, two sons, Bryan and Garrett Otto, one sister, Ella Merritt and her husband Leonard, one brother, Lee Otto and his wife Gail.
