Danny,
Please forgive this late entry but our family has just learned of your Mom's passing. She was so special to all of us as a long time neighbor and friend. She will always hold a special place in our hearts for the many kind things she did for us. We shared many a stormy evening together hunkered down when the tornado sirens blew. It's no secret we were all scared but we laughed together til the storm passed. Those memories still come back to us each time those sirens blow and we think of your Mom. I was sorry to hear today of Mildred's home going. She was a dear friend and encourager when I was pastor of Mount Zion. I have thought of her often these past years.

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Stallings.  I was just recounting some memories of her a few weekends ago when driving down Mobley Rd with my family.  She was always such a loving and gracious woman.  I loved visiting with her at Mammaw's house.  She always made everyone around her feel important and loved.  

You and your family are in my prayers.  I can just imagine the celebration in Heaven right now as so many of the pillars of the Double Churches/Mt. Zion community are Home!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Danny, we are very sorry to hear about your mother. I was thinking about her recently and wondering where she was living. We have many good memories of her in the Double Churches community and Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Zion many years ago and although time and circumstances didn't always allow frequent contact my mother always had a special place in her heart for their friendship.
