A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Columbus, Georgia on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor John Spencer officiating. Family will greet friends after the service in Hightower Hall. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for memorial contributions to be made to “Clement Arts” an organization that supports children in foster care or in the process of being adopted, www.clement-arts.org
Nasly Maria Duarte was born on December 11, 1960 in Bogota, Colombia to the late Angel Alberto Duarte and Leyla Edith Viloria Duarte. She moved to the United States when she was twenty making Columbus, Georgia her home. Ms. Nasly was a caregiver, she was a loving soul who took great pride in taking care of others. She was a childcare provider at Night Owl Kids Care.
She leaves her loving memory to be cherished to her sons: Orondaste Luis Martinez, Ezequiel Raphael Duarte, and Daniel Enrique Duarte; her sisters, Magaly Taylor, Margarita Robinson and Neyla Locey; her brother, Angel Duarte; her loving grandchildren: Deja Harris, Roman Duarte, and Remington Martinez. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
