

Noah Jinright, age 78, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Memorial services will be held at the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Saturday, April 18, 2015, 12 noon with Reverend Boyd Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends at the service on Saturday, April 18, 2015 till 2 p.m.
Mr. Jinright, son of the late William Carrol Jinright and Ila Marie Garrett Jinright, was born December 5, 1936 in Troy, Alabama. He worked at Plant Services for Muscogee County for several years and then began a teaching career where he was the Metals Technology Instructor at Spencer High School, Carver High School, and Kendrick High School. After retiring from the Muscogee County School System, he began another career serving the Chattahoochee Valley as a Security Officer. Mr. Jinright was a member of Pierce Chapel Assembly of God Church, Phenix City, Alabama; the NRA; and was recognized in “Who’s Who of America.”
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Gaskins Jinright; and a brother, Ted Jinright. Mr. Jinright is survived by three daughters, Marie Brown and her husband Michael of Phenix City, Alabama, Lisa Warren of Columbus, Diana Hendricks and her husband Donnie of Pembroke, Georgia; two sons, Mike Jinright of Fort Mitchell, Alabama and Jonathan Jinright and his fiance’ Stephanie Harrod of Millbrook, Alabama; one brother, Ray Jinright of Jackson, Georgia; five grandchildren, Ashley, Lizzy, Emily, Grayson, and Jaxson; many other relatives and friends.
