First met Mr. Otis back in the seventies when they built their house. After doing their tree work for over 35 years he and Mrs. Burnham became more like friends than customers. I will surely miss Mr. Otis. He was a good man. Our prays are with you Mrs. Burnham

I WAS SO SORRY TO READ ABOUT OTIS' PASSING.  MY HEART AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO BOTH ELEANOR AND NAMCY,  I HAD THE PRIVILEDGE TO WORK AT BURNHAM VAN SERVICE AND OTIS WAS ALWAYS VERY NICE TO ALL HIS EMPLOYEES.

Mr. Otis was an incredibly kind, generous, and genuine member of our community. I had the privilege of meeting him through activities of the Columbus State University Board of Trustees, and he was an enthusiastic supporter of the work we do for education at the Coca-Cola Space Science Center. He shared his stories and experience in a way that made people feel welcome, included, and inspired. We will miss him greatly.

Otis was one of the great encouragers. He looked for the best and every time I saw him, I came away uplifted. My family sends our heartfelt condolences in your loss.

Otis was a great friend of the Cruickshank family and especially to me personally.  When I first came to Columbus, and over the years since then, Otis and Eleanor have treated me like family....... Otis even taught me to water-ski! He will be very fondly remembered.

Otis was a true Southern Gentleman. I am very privileged to have known him during my 13 years as Pastor of Holy Family Church in Columbus and during the past 27 years since my transfer to Savananh. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Otis Burnham's death. I met him in '92 when I started writing for "Columbus and the Valley" Magazine. He took some of the first photos for the publication. I would see him and Eleanor at the Symphony often. My condolences to the family.
