Paula Lewis Schlader

We will celebrate the blessing of Paula Schlader's life at a Memorial Service on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Edgewood Baptist Church, 3564 Forest Road, Columbus, Georgia. There will also be a graveside service in Tallahassee, Florida at Roselawn Cemetary, 843 Piedmont Drive on Saturday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m.

Paula was born to the late Paul and Elizabeth Lewis on August 28, 1931 in Tallahassee, Florida. She graduated from Leon High School and attended Florida State University. Paula married her high school sweetheart, the late Carroll H. Schlader, on January 10, 1950. She was joyfully devoted to their family which included five children. In 1963, they moved to Columbus, Georgia where she continued to be involved in the lives of her children, church, Bible Studies and friends. When Carroll retired, they moved to their Beach House in Panama City Beach, Florida. She moved back to Columbus in 2008 and has enjoyed her children and Grandchildren, church family at Edgewood Baptist Church, Bible Studies, and friends.

She is survived by her children: Carroll H. Schlader (June) of Jacksonville, FL; Elizabeth Schlader Willman (Harris) of Jacksonville, Florida; Paula Schlader Hearn (Richard) of Columbus; Jennifer Schlader Donato (Mark) of Brunswick, Georgia; and Wade Lewis Schlader (Tina). Her grandchildren are Kelli Ellington (Mike), Anna Salinas (Matt), Branden Willman Kozimor (Stosh), Myles Willman, Margaret Willman, Tony Donato, Matthew Donato, Ryan Schlader (Erica), Will Schlader, Samantha Schlader, Tucker Hearn, and Barrie Jarrett (Mason). She also has eleven great-grandchildren.
