Peter was born May 20, 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany the son of M/SGT John and Mavis Cullen. He was a graduate of Baker High School, during which he was a member of ROTC for 4 years. Peter then went on to serve in the United States Army, receiving many awards and was a proud Veteran. He ultimately went on to receive his Associates Degree as an Electrical Technician and worked for many years in this field at Fort Benning. His hobbies included listening to music, going to concerts and watching the Atlanta Falcons. A no frills kind of guy, he was the advisor and caregiver for the family who would tell the best stories filled with humor and wisdom. He was a wonderful father and brother and will be greatly missed. He had many friends he leaves behind, the ones he will miss the most is a group that called themselves the Benning Hills Gang.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jimmy. Survivors include his two children; Heather Dawson (Mike) and John David, the mother of his children Janice Cullen, two brothers; Michael and Gerald Cullen, four sisters; Cathy Sweeney (Joe), Patricia Suarez, Barbara Cullen (Steve), and Ila Cullen and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
