Renate Skidmore, 70, of Cataula, GA passed away October 16, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Renate was born March 19, 1944 in Goeppingen, Germany to the late Otto Griener and Gertrude Danningmann Griener. She was a Mother and Homemaker who had a passion for her family. She also loved to cook and to go to yard sales.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 4:00-6:00 pm in the Wildwood room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. A Celebration of Life service will be Monday, October 20, 2014 11:00 am in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby. Pastor Nicole Radney will be officiating along with Deacon Douglas Robinson, Sr., and Brandy Blalock.
Mrs. Skidmore is survived by; her mother Gertrude Griener; her loving husband of 40 years, Daniel Skidmore; two daughters, Caterina Johnson and Natasha Skidmore; two sons, Marco Rosato and Caio Rosato; twelve grandchildren, Nicole Puckett, Marco Rosato, Jr., Schina Hyles, Sierra Mims, Deona Skidmore, Alexis Skidmore, Sly Rosato, Raven Chaney, Cody Rosato, Tatiyana Chaney, Paris Rosato, and Austin Rosato; six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
