Our cherished mother and grandmother, Roanne Elizabeth Peck, died on December 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Roanne was married for 61 years to her soulmate, Richard J. Peck, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Cynthia, Dean, Scott, and Jennifer Peck; her grandchildren, Devin, Dalton, and Sebastien Peck; her daughters-in-law, Debby and Jennifer C. Peck, and her sister, Judy Kias.
Roanne resided in Blairsville, GA before relocating to Columbus, GA to be closer to her children. Roanne was known for her devotion and selflessness to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a quiet and reserved soul and never wanted to be the center of attention. She would always give her opinion and advice when it mattered most. She made an impact on everyone she knew, especially when her witty sense of humor emerged. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs, which were a comforting presence in her life. She will be truly missed by all who knew her and has left a lasting impression on all of us.
