

Rosalie Young Bryant, 87, of Columbus, GA passed away September 28, 2015 at Columbus Hospice. Rosalie was born February 5, 1928 in Boston, England to her late parents, John and Violet Young. She met the love of her life and was married to the late Richard C. Bryant for 68 years. Mrs. Bryant became an American Citizen May 16, 1952. She held on to many of her traditions including Hot Tea in the afternoon. Rosalie attended North Highland Church and was an avid reader. Her passion was her family and taking care of them.
The family will receive guests for visitation Wednesday, September 30, 2015 5-7 pm in the Rosehill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. Graveside Services will be Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00 am in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Lacy officiating.
Along with her parents and husband, Mrs. Bryant is preceded in death by her son Terry Bryant. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Bryant of Pine Mountain, GA, Glen (Debbie) Bryant of Columbus, GA, and Richard C. (Katrina)Bryant II of Ellerslie, GA; one sister, Daisy Hicks of England; seven grandchildren, Terri (Jody) Williford, Traci (David) Rivera, Richard C (Amy) Bryant III, Montien (Michael) Cosmah, Matthew Bryant, Christopher Bryant, and Alexander Bryant; ten great grandchildren, Katelin Williford, Darby Williford, Olivia Rivera, Gideon Rivera, Savannah Rivera, Emma Bryant, Cole Bryant, Levi Cosmah, Haylee Cosmah, and Luke Cosmah.
