Roy E. Hershey, Jr., age 49, of Cusseta, Georgia, formerly of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. A memorial service for Roy will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1st Baptist Church of Cusseta, 104 Mt Olive St, Cusseta, Georgia.
Roy was born on May 5, 1975 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania; the son of Roy Hershey, Sr. and Carol Hershey.
For the last 10 years, Roy worked for ALAGA Paint. When he was not working for ALAGA, he loved working at his home and spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing video games.
Roy is preceded in death by: his brother, Jeffrey Hartman; grandparents, David and Gladys Hershey; four uncles, an aunt, a cousin, a stepmother, and a stepfather.
Survivors include: his wife, Sherri Hershey; his children, David Hershey, Conner Hershey, Blossom Hershey, Autum Hershey, Katelyn Hershey, and Star Hershey; his mother, Carol Hammerbacher; his father Roy E. Hershey, Sr., brother Cory Hershey; and sisters, Sondra Hershey, Nichole Hershey, and Brooke Hershey.
