Mrs. Diehl the sweetest person i know i grew up two houses down from her on Newick and my dad would cut there grass and do there yard work we would joke and say that he was there adopted son i would come over and adored there train station and house when we moved he would still go regularly and my mom would order Avon from her i ordered from her too when i did she sent me extra she would always be so thoughtful of others gifts EVERY holiday and cards  the sweetest person ever gone but NEVER forgotten

Mr. Diehl, Susan, Brian, Sherry and Steve, from Susan and I, all our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your wife and mother.  I have many wonderful memories of "Mrs. Diehl" as we Farris's all lovingly called her with much respect, and all the years we shared spending time at your home or all of you spending time with us.  I often think of you all and again, please accept my sincere sympathies.  Sherry, you are so right in saying your Mother is a wonderful woman. My mother was a wonderful woman, she never worked outside of the home when we were growing up &  I always appreciated that. We would come home from school & play & our neighbors came home to an empty house & chores.  When I got older, mom & I used to roam Columbus Square Mall for hours at a time & only thing we would buy was lunch so we could people watch. Once I got married & moved away she would send me lovely hand written letters that were pages long & bring me up to date on everyone. I will miss her, but I am glad she went quickly if that had to be the ultimate outcome.
