I am so sorry I didn't find out in time to come... I will always remember him as the uncle I followed around as a child. My moma told me the sm.scar I have along my nose, was from running to meet him one day & tripping off the porch... God help to ease this passing but, know... he is with God & the rest of his family..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My dad, John Whiddon and Sam worked together at St. Francis. I had the privilege of meeting Sam on several occasions, a fine man. May God bless your family during your time of loss.

Sam was a staple at the station.  Going there will never be the same.  He is not suffering anymore and is now at peace. We will meet up with him again in Heaven one day.
