Sandra Joyce Wilson, age 77, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. A celebration of Sandra's Life will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA.
Sandra was born October 23, 1942 in Phenix City, Alabama to Willa Bell Henderson Tyrell and Carlton Fussell. Sandra was a “People Person”, she loved everyone and they loved her back. There always seemed to be something about Sandra that naturally drew people to her. Her heart was her grandchildren and her family, she would sit, tell about stories from her youth, laugh and have a great time. The co-workers at Columbus 911 call centered and the Inspectors office will miss her smile. Sandra will forever be remembered as a loving and nurturing Co-worker, Mother , Wife, Grandmother and friend.
Son Charles Billy Wilson, Jr; mother Willa Bell Henderson Tryell; father Carlton Fussell and a Half -brother, preceded Sandra in death. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Billy Wilson, Sr.; daughter Christine Jones (Ben); a Half-brother Dennis Tyrell; grandchild Michael Wilson, grandchild Christopher Wilson, grandchild Trey Wilson, grandchild Chad Wilson, grandchild Gabriel Jones and grandchild Catherine Jones. Other family members, co-workers and many friends to cherish her memory.
