Terry Lee McConnell

Terry Lee McConnell, 53, of Louisville, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 peacefully at his home. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday April 15, 2017 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Ga.

Terry was born in Columbus, Ga and was the son of the late Victor McConnell and Mrs. Keiko McConnell. He grew up in Columbus, Ga and graduated from Harris County High School in 1983. He moved to Louisville in 2000 and pursued a career in manufacturing.

He is preceded in death by his father Victor McConnell, brother Kenneth McConnell, sister Sandra Cramer, and brother Duane McConnell.

He is survived by his loving and devoted partner Daniel Kelly of Louisville, KY; mother Keiko McConnell of Columbus, GA; 3 brothers, Dennis (Jan) McConnell of Paw Paw, WV, Bruce (Donna) McConnell of West Memphis, TN, and Mark McConnell of Blackshear, GA; two sisters Kathy (Kenneth) Kawalek of Jacksonville, FL, and Brenda Culverhouse of Columbus, GA. Also survived by 13 nieces; 14 nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Terry loved his family and friends dearly. He also enjoyed family vacations, cookouts, his flowers, the theater and coming back home especially in the Springtime. He will be missed by many and we are comforted knowing he is with ones we have already loved and lost.
