A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 3:00PM in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Keith Trumbo officiating. Family will visit with friends after the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Parker was born on November 28, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Blanche Whitehead Parker and Ras L. Parker. He worked for Southern Railway as a Railcar Inspector. Mr. Parker was a member of Columbus 1st Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 40 years, he enjoyed wood working and had an exceptional sense of humor. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Helmick and her husband, Doug; dear friends, Rachel Lee, Vickie Waites, Mary Anne Woyke, Amy Woyke and several other relatives.
