Mr. Phillips was born January 02, 1917 in Edinburgh, IN., the son of the late Melton and Myrtle Lauver Phillips.
He married Dorothy Lillian Graham on January 04, 1936 in Franklin, IN. and she preceded him in death on February 23, 2013.
Mr. Phillips was a laborer.
In keeping with his wishes cremation is being entrusted to Hathaway-Myers Chapel and The Columbus Crematory.
A private memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date.

Mr. Phillips is survived by a daughter, Anita Louise McDonald of Franklin, IN.; two sons, Graham W. Phillips of Nineveh, IN. and Raymond D. (Marilyn) Phillips of San Diego, CA.; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, Mr. Phillips was also preceded in death by his sister.
