

Mrs. Hathaway was former executive secretary to the president of Arvin Industries. She loved to play golf and belonged to several bridge clubs.
A member of First Presbyterian Church, she was a former member of Harrison Lake Country Club, Shakespeare Club and Phi Beta Psi Sorority and was a longtime volunteer for the American Cancer Society
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street. Pastor Rob Craig will officiate. Calling will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Born December 30, 1915, in Columbus, Mrs. Hathaway was the daughter of George and Carrie Sweany McLean. She married John K. Hathaway April 9, 1938, in Columbus. He preceded her in death May 9, 1983.
She is survived by daughters, Carol (Jeffery) Gwin of Columbus, Susan (Donald) Tantillo of McHenry, IL, and Martha Hathaway and her husband Tom Linneweber of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Carrie (Tyler) Welling of Bryan, OH, John Anderson of Atlanta, Carly (Jeff) Enders of Nashville, TN, and Scott Anderson of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Matt Anderson and a brother, Byron McLean.
