Born in Bedford on 10-12-48, she was the daughter of Terrell Edsel & Rebecca Browning Davis.
Surviving are her mother of Jonesville; her daughter, Kelly (Chris) Campbell, Columbus; sisters, Betty Jean (Ray) King, Columbus and Ruth King, New Port News, VA; her brother, Michael (Sharon) Owens, Greencastle; 2 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her father.
A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday 10-4-12 at 6:00 p. m. in Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl St. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to the American Legion Post of the donor's choice.
In keeping with Dixie's wishes, cremation is planned.
