Gerald Olin Sullivan

Gerald Olin Sullivan, 93, of Taylor Road died 9:15 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Four Seasons Health Care Center. A private graveside service will be conducted Friday at Vernon Cemetery with Rev. Tom Rust officiating. There will be no visitation. Myes~Reed Chapel on 25th Street is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made thru the funeral home to The Sardinia Baptist Church. He was born in Jennings County, November 29, 1926, the son of John Franklin and Bessie Jacobs Sullivan. He was a graduate of the former Jackson High School in Decatur County, was a farmer near Sardinia and was a member of The Sardinia Baptist Church. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company and was a member of the Diesel Workers Union. He was preceded in death by his parents.
