Shane was born in Columbus January 1, 1966 to Nicholas J. and Sonja Schofield Costanzi. He was the 1966 New Year’s Baby.
Shane was most proud of his nieces and nephews and was very excited to find out he was gaining two new ones when his nephew gets married in October.
Shane loved music, anything that glowed in the dark, calling his sister every day, going to senior group and spending holidays with his family.
Survivors include sisters, Lisa (Rick) Ross of Columbus and Shannon Smith of Indianapolis; half-brothers, Mike (Jill) Costanzi of Texas and Tim Costanzi of Illinois; nieces, Shelby Ross of Cincinnati, Jenna Smith of Indianapolis; nephews, Kyle (Jennifer Harris) Ross of Bargersville, Brody Miller of Bargersville, Nathan Mullins, Damon Estes, Tyler Reynolds of Columbus, Brian Smith of South Dakota; special friend, Mary Clingerman; beloved caregiver, April Watkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, William (Doc) and Ethel Schofield, Cal and Jessie Costanzi; sister, Toni Costanzi.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastor Larry Isbell officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery. In keeping with CDC and Indiana guidelines, social distancing must be followed and masks are required. You may also be asked to wait outside due to the social distanced capacity of the funeral home.
