Holli Jill Miske

Holli was born in Terre Haute, the daughter of James Melvin and Beverly Ann Smith Snider and lived most of her life in Columbus. She married Mike Miske on June 20, 1992, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

Holli was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church teaching Sunday school, reactivating the Church’s Girl Scout troop, chaperoning school field trips and substitute teaching at St. Peter’s School. Her passion was spending time with her family, especially her daughter and her best friends Abby, Bo, Sadie and Mannie. Loving Holli was so easy because of her contagious spirit and smile. She taught at McDowell School.

The funeral service for Holli will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, in Myers-Reed Chapel with Pastor Mark R. Teike officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a. m. until service time. In keeping with Holli’s wishes cremation is planned. Memorial contributions may be directed to Happy Labs Rescue or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Holli is survived by her husband, Mike Miske; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Miske; father, James Melvin Snider; sisters, Jami Ann (John) Snider Fischer and Terri Jo (Dillon L.) Snider Bord; brother, Jay Nelson (Pennie) Snider; best pet friends, Abby, Bo, Sadie and Mannie, all of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Holli was preceded in death by her mother.
