

Mrs. Boles was born on May 20, 1927 in Pulaski, Virginia the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Lela Mae Bonds Cristall.
She married Charles “Lindy” Boles in Ringo, GA. on April 07, 1980 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Caswell Braziel, Sr. and her second husband, Walter Emmett Fincher.
Mrs. Boles was a former resident of Rome, GA. where she was a waitress for many years at the Forest Hotel and the Holiday Inn. She moved to Columbus, IN. in 1980 and was a former sales associate at several shops in Nashville, IN.
She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Columbus, IN. Mrs. Boles was also a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant and the Columbus Chapter #339 Order of Eastern Star and had held several offices while a member of the Elizabethtown Order of Eastern Star.
The funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Boles will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Myers-Reed Chapel at 3729-25th St., Columbus, IN. 47203 with the Rev. James A. Seddon officiating in conjunction with an Order of Eastern Star Memorial Service conducted by members of the Columbus Chapter #339.
Calling hours will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday.
Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.

Mrs. Boles is survived by four daughters, Fran (Dr. Pope) Jordan of Rome, GA., Gladys (Charles) Duvall of Kingston, GA., Ann (Hill) Herring of Chamblee, GA. and Cris (Graylyn) Abner of Azalia, IN.; a son, Loyd Braziel of Scipio, IN.; two step-daughters, Barbara DeGonia of Clarksville, IN. and Julia (Eric) Simms of Shepardsville, KY.; two special nieces, Karen Green of Athens, GA. and Susie Hicks of Rome, GA.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and three husbands, Mrs. Boles was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Maples; a step-son, Calvin Boles; and a granddaughter, Mary Roseane Braziel.
