Adena Ball

Adena Ball, age 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Kobacker House. Adena was born in Pomroy, Ohio on September 29, 1933 to the late William and Eunice (Wyatt) Chase. Also preceding in death was her sister Nancy Eaton. Adena grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was a graduate of Columbus North High School. In her early years she was very active with the PTA and various church groups, including singing in the church choir. She loved fashion and to decorate. Adena and Harold enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with friends, both in the country and abroad. Adena will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 70 years, Harold Dean Ball; daughter Susan Ball; son David (Jean) Ball; grandsons Scott Ball and Brian (Tricia Sutton) Ball; brother William (Rosemary) Chase, sister-in-law Nancy Chase; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Riverside Global Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221 with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
