Albert Lloyd "Buck" Petty

Albert Lloyd “Buck” Petty, 79, of Circleville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1934 in Pickaway County to Lloyd and Mildred (Gates) Petty. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte (McCloud) Petty; and his parents. Buck was a 1953 graduate of Jackson Twp. School. He worked as a deliveryman for Pickaway Dairy before going to work for Neff Brothers Electric where he retired after 30 years of service.

Buck is survived by his wife, Zola F. (Acord) Petty; sons, Rick (Thelma) Petty and Michael (Sheryl) Petty; grandchildren, Marie (Steve) Bradshaw, Scott (Patricia) Petty, Melissa Danner, Candace (David) Virgin, Chad (Jenny) Lindsey, Matt Lindsey and Nicole Lindsey; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Hoover and Patsy Jane Simon; brother, David F. (Vernidine Ebbrecht) Petty; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 10, 2014 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger with Pastor Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Twp. Cemetery.
