Alice Louise Ingram, age 93, passed away at her home at Worthington Christian Village on April 27, 2024. A long-time member of Central College Presbyterian Church in Westerville, Ohio. Louise was born in Earlville, New York to Clara and Howard Planck and grew up in Hamilton and Poolville New York. She is predeceased by her husband Franklyn Charles Ingram to whom she was married for 56 years. Franklyn and Louise called many places their home as Franklyn served in numerous teaching and administrative positions, including Penn State University, Kent State University, Indiana State University, and Central Michigan University. Louise is survived by her two children, Bruce (Maureen) of Columbus and Joy Cooke (John) of Irvine, California; many grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by sisters Candice Irwin of Earlville, New York and Anne Mercier of Clinton, New York; and brother and sister-in law, Robert and Joanna Ingram of Freedom, Pennsylvania. Louise graduated from Earlville High School and Syracuse Business College, working as a secretary to put Franklyn through his years of education. As a child of the depression, she picked beans and tomatoes, worked cleaning houses and many other odd jobs until her marriage. A fastidious homemaker and cook, Louise was a force in her own right as she managed her household in numerous locations across the country. We wish to thank the administration and staff at Worthington Christian Village for the care and compassion shown to Louise (Mom) in her final illness.
