Alice Mays Long age 80, a resident of Columbus, died Monday, October 26, 2009. She is preceded in death by a son Paul W. Long III, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband Paul of fifty seven happy years, daughter Lindsey McCracken (Eva Ballenger), grandson Nicholas (Kristin) McCracken, great granddaughter Alexandra, daughter-in-law Cindy Long, three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270). Memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 PM.
