Alice E. Richardson

Alice E. Richardson, age 92 of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. Alice was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late Raymond Wright and Christine Williams. Also preceded in death by beloved husband, Albert Richardson, daughter, June Banks, and siblings, Ann Robinson and Harvey Wright. Alice worked for many years with Montaldo's Department Store. She is a strong woman who was the matriarch of her family. She had a great sense of humor, gave wonderful advice, and possessed an understanding heart. She enjoyed traveling, Sunday rides, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her children, Brenda Richardson and Darrell (Linda) Anderson; grandchildren, Christopher (Anthea), Theresa, Darrell II, Christina (Eric), and Micah (Artis); great grandchildren, Nia, Grayson, Andrew, Christopher, Brianna, Arianna, Andrew, and Emil; and other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until time of service Thursday. Interment Union Cemetery.
