Amanda Marie Sotelo

Amanda Marie Schnipke Sotelo, age 24, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was born on November 9, 1989 in Lima, Ohio to Kenneth and Gina Schnipke. Amanda was attending Columbus State with her courses geared toward being a Registered Nurse. Recently, she was a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with Riverside Methodist Hospital. Amanda was a very creative and loving person, who filled her conversations with humor and her quick wit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew, and loved her.

She is survived by her parents Kenneth and Gina Schamp Schnipke; husband Miguel Sotelo; her beautiful daughter Niele Sotelo; brother Austin Schnipke; grandfather Thomas Schnipke; grandmother Kay Schamp; aunts and uncles: Jim and and Cheryl Rupert, Mike and Laurie Hoffman, Tim and Deb Schnipke, Dennis and Letty Schamp, Tim and Jill Clay and Scott and Kim Taylor; cousins Megan Keirns, Jordan Rupert, Travis Schnipke, Samantha Camareno, Brooke Schnipke, Claire Schamp, Evelyn and Sophie Taylor; and many friends with whom she enjoyed the outdoors: such as camping, fishing and swimming.

She is preceded in death by her brother Kyle Schnipke; grandmother Mary Ann Schnipke; grandfather Larry Schamp.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5 p.m., at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am, Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Father Anthony A. Dinovo, Jr., Celebrant. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may, if they wish, make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice, in Amanda’s name.
