

Ann H. Stocker, 89, of Columbus, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at home. She was born March 26, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Israel Fairchild "Doc" and Helen (Workman) Harner. She was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and Capital University. Ann spent time as a medical technologist and then a realtor. She was a founding member of the Church of the Redeemer United Methodist where she sang in the choir. She was a member of N.S.C.A.R., DAR, Eastern Star, Genealogy Society and the North American Rockwell/ Westerville Community Concert Band. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed reading, knitting and needlepoint. Ann is preceded in death by son-in-law Jim Miller. She is survived by Ed her loving husband of 62 years, children Beth (Duncan) Oliver, Irene Miller, E. Kerth Stocker III and W Eric (Monica) Stocker, grandchildren Emily (Nathaniel), Fisher, Jessica (Jason) Mitchell, James "Jake"W. Miller III, Allen (Kim) E.K. Stocker, Jodi Stocker and Erica Rivera, great grandchildren Adriana Rivera, Liam and Lucas Rivera, Peyton Stocker, Abel Stocker and Baby Stocker, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2-5 PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, 235 McNaughton Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice.
