Anthony J. Brown, age 47, of Columbus, died unexpectedly on December 10, 2013. He was born February 5, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ernestine Williams and Charles J. Brown. He grew up in Asbury Park and Long Branch, NJ. He graduated from Asbury Park High School and attended Rowen College (Formerly Glassboro State College) in Glassboro, New Jersey. Anthony served in the United States Marine Corps for twelve years and Honorably discharged as Corporal. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Pastor Carolyne E. Armistead-Brown; his only daughter, Camille Brown; his favorite cousin, Nailah Williams; two brothers, Mosee Brown and Courtney Brown; one sister, Joanne Brown; his long-time military friends and brothers, Hosie Walker, Edward Norris, and Richard Price; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, and friends; and his family at the VOA Veteran’s Outreach Center. A Birthday Memorial Service will be held on at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Schoedinger’s Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204, where friends will be received from12 Noon to 1:00pm.
