Anthony "Nino" J. Donato

A mass of Christian burial for Anthony “Nino” J. Donato 74, will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 6300 Dublin -Granville Rd., New Albany, Ohio, Monday July 5, 2010 at 10AM with Father Jerry Rodenfels officiating. Burial will follow at Mifflin Township Cemetery.

Tony passed away Friday July 2, 2010 at his residence with loving wife Pat by his side. Tony was born on July 2, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Joseph and Josephine Donato.

Tony grew up in Brooklyn and graduated from the Brooklyn City School system in 1955 before entering in the United States Air Force later that year. After serving for four years he attended New York Community College and received his bachelor’s degree. Later he attended The Ohio State University and received a second B.S. Degree and his MBA. Tony worked for the Department of Defense for over 30 years and then was with Lockheed Martin for 5 years. Tony enjoyed reading and playing golf, but what meant the world to him was his family.

Along with his wife Pat, survivors include his loving children; Brian (Julie) Donato of Dublin, Andrea (Tina Pizzino) Jones of Kettering, Todd L. Baker of Columbus, Timothy D. Baker of Hilliard, Trevert H. Baker of Hilliard; 6 Grandchildren; sisters Santa Luchese, and Francis (Vito) Armetta, both of Brooklyn He is also survived by many Nieces Nephews cousins and other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. on Sunday 4 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of the Resurrection building fund in his name.
