Antionette "Toni" Koontz

Antionette “Toni” Koontz, age 82, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Toni was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 10, 1943 to the late William & Edith (Nobile) Hunter. Also preceded by siblings Billy Hunter, Loretta Copely, Brian Hunter, and Marian Geer. Toni was a Graduate of St Mary's High School class of 1961 and continued her education by graduating in Library Science from Ohio Dominican University. Toni was a school librarian at St Charles for many years. She loved traveling to Toronto, Niagara Falls and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The thing she loved most was spending time with her family. Toni will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 62 years Gerald “Jerry” Koontz; son Bill (Lisa) Koontz; daughters Jamie (Eddie) Skeens and Jennifer Russell; granddaughter Kristin Burton; grandson Dustin Koontz; great-grandson Logan Burton; sister Nancy (John) Dury; brother Joseph (Dixie) Hunter; niece Kathleen (Micheal) Whitworth; nephew Joshua (Christine) Tolliver; and loving dog Buddy.
