

He served in the Ohio National Guard and was called into active duty to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII. Art worked at various companies as a sheet metal worker and retired from Lambert's Sheet Metal. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 98 and golfed at Hillcrest Golf Club.
Art never met a stranger, liked to make people laugh, and was known for his little sayings. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Addison; and sister, Rose Watkins.
Art will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Doris; son, Gary (Pam) Addison; daughter, Cheryl (Earl "Skip") Cragle; grandchildren, Tanya (Dave) Marquez, Tony Addison, Jennifer (Danny) Smith, Judd (Kaitlyn) Carr, and Holly Cragle; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Family will receive friends Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013.
