

Audrey L. Baker, born on January 23, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Wilber E. and Beatrice (Boardman) Peecher, died on March 24. She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael (Jody) Jones and Sandra (Tom) Craven; grandchildren, Tyler Jones (Bobbie Bain), Trevor Jones, Courtney (Kevin) Shrager, Andy (Lyndsey) Craven, Katie Craven, Dan Craven, Jackie (Jules) Campbell, Phillip (Ashley) Jones, Melonia (Nate DeMars) Bennett, Jessica (Jesse) Weber; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baker; son, Keith Jones; and sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Paul Grossman.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of Columbus and a graduate of North High School, class of '43. Starting out in her father's law offices, Audrey developed her own tax preparation business and had a career into her 90s. In addition to her work, she was known for her skills in golf, bridge, bowling and poker. She also loved to travel, and play golf, with her husband, Charlie, and her sister, Dorothy.
