Barbara Josephine Cherry

Barbara J. Cherry, age 87 of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018. Barbara was born in Hubbardston, MA to the late Milo L. and Melba N. Kincaid. She retired from OSU Hospitals where she was the office manager in the Department of Surgical Pathology. Barbara was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed neighbor luncheons, gardening, as well as her cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James, Jr., brother Charles Kincaid, and sisters Mary Hunt and Dorothy Tyson. She is survived by her sons James B. Cherry III (Lorraine) and Jeffrey K. Cherry (Ann); grandchildren Justin J. Cherry , Caitlin I. Cherry, Beth Rockwood (Will) and Mary Morgan (Patrick); great-grandchildren Kenadie Morgan, Jayse Rockwood and Brooklyn Rockwood; sisters Ida Smith (Don) and Nan Butner. A private memorial service will be held October 18 at the First United Methodist Church (Lancaster) chapel. Pastor Cheryl Foulk will officiate.
