Barbara H. Rader

Barbara H. Rader, age 53 of Columbus, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010. Barbara was born in Shelby, Ohio, daughter to the late James and Carol Mitchell. Also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas. Barbara was proud to be a true mother of all mothers. She always enjoyed hosting family dinners and get-togethers and instilled these family traditions within her own children. She enjoyed warm days, sea shells, everything associated with the beach. Survived by children, Joshua (Laura Walls) VanMeter, Darlene (Gary) Kinnison, and Brandy (Curtis Hay) Rader; grandchildren, Dean, Alexia, Jocelyn, Lilli, Alyssa, Jillian, and Ashton; brother, Bill Mitchell; sister, Cheryl Springer; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial Service will be held at 7 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until time of service.
