Barbara Jean Stewart

Barbara Stewart Riddle passed away on July 8, 2021 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Born in Columbus, Ohio on Feb 11, 1934 to the late Charles and Kathryn (McCabe) Stewart. Preceded in death by parents, husband of more than 60 years Hybert (Jack), sisters Charlotte Frame, Kathryn Louise Stewart, and Patricia Rockwell, and brother Charles (Sonny) Stewart. Graduated from West High School 1952 and attended Franklin University and Bliss College. Retired from Continental Real Estate as group controller. Barbara was an avid bicyclist traveling all over the United States and Europe on a tandem bicycle with her husband. She also ran and completed the Columbus Marathon in 1982 and 1983 and competed in many foot races in the 1980s winning several age group awards and trophies. Barbara is survived by her children Charles (Joyce) Riddle, Cindy (Ed) Lewis, and David (Keri) Riddle, grandchildren Brennan (Janet), Ali (Chris), Harrison (Ashley), Katy (Chris), David (Hannah), Zachery (Alyssa), and 7 great grandchildren. A visitation for Barbara will be held on Friday August 6, 2021 from 5-7pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY 3290 Broadway where the funeral services will be held on Saturday August 7, 2021 at 10am.
