Barbara Ann Winkler

Barbara Ann Winkler "Buckeye Barb", age 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 10, 1935 to the late Harry and Mildred Fisher. Barbara was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Winkler; son, Bruce Winkler; and brothers, Don and Tom Fisher. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (John) Winkler, Steve (Peggy) Winkler, and Wayne (Beverly) Winkler; grandchildren, Zachary, Cianna, and Angel; great grandchildren, Sierra, Ethan, and Abigail; brothers, Chuck (Laura) Fisher, Bill (Celine) Fisher, and Dick (Jane) Fisher; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January, 21, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204. Family requests to please wear OSU attire or colors. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:30AM at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2745 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204. Pastor Seth Jersild officiating.
