Basil R Bragg

Basil R. Bragg, age 85, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on April 12, 2021. He was born on January 7, 1936 in Lincoln County, West Virginia to the late Roy and Dona Bragg. Basil joins in death his parents; children Teddy Coy, Crystal Gail, Daniel Bragg; brothers Herbert Bragg and Floyd "Noah" Bragg. He leaves behind his loving wife Nellie J. (Sartin) Bragg; daughters, Melissa Bragg, Carmella Bragg, Delena Bragg, and Tammy Bragg; sisters Phyllis Cannady and Verdella "Joyce" Nelson; grandchildren Angelina Lee, Amanda Whitlock, Celina Marcum, Marquise Tarr, Jamarr Patterson, Tierra Jordan and Bryden Henson; Great grandchildren Isaiah, Justin, Ryan, Roman, Jacob, Bella, Gabe, Heaven and Autumn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barbara Carmon and family for their love and support and to Pastor Curtis Booth whom is a longtime friend of Basil. Visitation will be held on Friday April 16, 2021 from 12NOON to 2PM at the Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church, 3868 N Stygler Rd, Columbus, OH 43230 with the funeral service starting at 2PM.
