Beatrice Shonebarger

“Aunt Bea” was born on May 31, 1951 in Newark to the late George and Alice (Tracy) Jacobs. She passed Thursday March 24, 2011 at her home in Heath. She was 59 years old.

She is preceded in death by her brother Bill Jacobs. She is survived by her husband Charles, to whom she had been married for forty years; children Gregory of Newark, Jennifer (Joe) Anglim of Cary, NC, Matt of Newark and Michelle of Winslow, AZ, her very special grandson Blake Anglim, sisters Susan (George) Lanning of Elkhart, IN and Jean Nichols of Newark, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

A member of the NHS class of ’69, she was a loving and caring mother and wife, keeping a loving home for her family providing them with love and humor in her own special way. She loved to read John Grisham and Jeffrey Archer, was a OSU Buckeye fan and followed the career of Brett Favre. She and Charles travelled extensively throughout the US and Canada. She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Newark and was formerly employed by the Heath City Schools.
