Betty Jane Conley, age 90, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She was born on May 20, 1923 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Arthur and Laverna (McMillion) Gladwell. Betty was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an avid dog lover. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lou Lance; son, Robert Conley; and brother, Bernard Gladwell. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy Gladwell; nephew, Craig (Mary Beth) Gladwell; niece, Lisa (Greg) Thrush and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor for their loving care of Betty. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave. Andrew Hoover, Celebrant.
