Betty J. Donaldson

Betty J. Donaldson, 97, of Columbus, passed away November 11, 2016. She was born in Westmoreland County, PA on September 25, 1919 to the late William and Anna Laura (Franks) Martin. Raised in Uniontown, PA, she has been a resident of the Columbus Area for the past 70 years, having retired from Defense Construction Supply Center. She was an active member of The Order of The Eastern Star and Glenwood United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband James L. Donaldson in 1991. They were married for 50 years. Also preceding her were brothers James L. "Merle" Martin and William Martin.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William and Anita Donaldson; grandchildren Robert (Ruth Albertelli) and Amy (Zach) Clark; great grandchildren Nathan James Donaldson, Violet Elizabeth Donaldson, Aidan James Clark and Reese Anthony Clark.

Visitation will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 11AM until 12PM at which time a funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Mullinix. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to a charity of choice.
