Betty Alice McDonald, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. She was born December 15, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harley and Irene (Vanwicklin) Shafer. Betty loved spending time with her family and going on picnics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Michael McDonald; granddaughter, Tina; and several siblings. Betty is survived by daughters, Shirley Hawk, Marie (Neil) Copley; Pamela Scott, and Brenda (Ken) Howell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
